Bellerose: Indigenous Jewish Rights

RYAN BELLEROSE,

Ryan Bellerose, a Métis- indigenous to Canada, specifically the Red River region, is an ardent advocate for the rights of indigenous peoples worldwide. In this compelling and personal narrative, Bellerose takes the reader on an emotional and inspiring tour through his life, connecting the poignant lessons of childhood and young adulthood, to his struggle to have indigenous rights recognized, and to overcome the multiple barriers which exist in our own communities. Bellerose also includes in this book his journey to Zionism and support for Israel, which he calls "the world's first modern indigenous nation."

“Your story is one of the best stories in history. A tiny people, broken, damaged, conquered several times, treated horribly, enslaved, yet, remained unbroken, unconquered and unassimilated. You not only returned to your ancient homeland, but you rebuilt it and made it thrive despite monumental pressure from the entire world. And if that is not the best story in history, I don’t know what else would qualify.”
- Ryan Bellerose

"The old federation pro-Israel advocacy consisted mainly of verbose posters, extolling the virtues of Israel and its people, computer chips, beaches in Tel Aviv, facts that nobody bothered to read. It consisted of being apologetic, on the defensive, sounding like you are trying to sell something rather than celebrating it, EXPLAINING RATHER THAN ADVOCATING. Even the name for what they did – “Hasbara” – means “explanation” and tends to sound more like rationalisation or justification..."

Hi Guys, some updates, the book is finished and has been for some time, had some struggles with issues with publishers but am in discussion with some people and should see the book out this year. working on several projects and some of them will be paradigm changing. The money raised thus far was used to enable Ryan to work on the book and still attend protests and anti Israel events in order to give the pro Israel side of the story. everyone who contributed will receive a shout out in the book but more importantly, you should know you helped make many of the projects Ryan is working on, a reality.

Dear friends of Ryan,
As you all know there is a profound connection between the indigenous position and solidarity of native peoples and Jews through Ryan's advocacy.

This connection between a Zionist Metis & Standing Rock Sioux regarding the sacred rights to water and indigenous land would occur just before Sukkot, which also has an ancient water ceremony associated with it.

We would love for Ryan to have a presence and share his position on this with the Standing Rock Sioux community.

It is our belief that these matters concern all human beings. We are all connected and feel compelled to support each other in this endeavor.

Thank you all for continuing to support Ryan's mission and vision.

Dear friends of Ryan,
I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you that our advocate and emissary, Ryan is still struggling with his health. I know we get updates from his Facebook profile, but I desire to convey more from my own perspective. The Indigenous Identity concept is not new, but it is innovative in how Ryan utilizes it to promote and explain Jewish origin and a connection to our people and land.

Ryan and I joke around about the f-word a lot. For me, it is a different f-word. The word "friend" is not an easy one for me to say. However, Ryan has been a friend to the Jewish people and also a mentor.

Join us in our continued support as he relentlessly pursues our story, our history, our ancestral connections and give back to Ryan for giving so much of himself to us.

Thank you to those who consistently support Indigenous Jewish Rights and together let's be unified in backing our champion Ryan Bellerose.
Our friend needs his friends right now.

Ryan has discipline for this work. I made my contribution and I hope others will too. This is a hard job but he is very passionate about it; that's what gives him the temerity to push forward through the religious dogma, hate, and lies of the antisemitic world. As a non-Jew, I didn't know much about Israel's cause, and my education began with him and Sarah Bee. Israel is lucky to have someone so dedicated put forth the moral argument for Israel's existence, and tie it's existence to all humanities thirst for knowledge, wisdom, technological advancement, indigenous rights, and historical justice. It's an injustice that Israel has to fight for it's right to exist- I can feel the injustice when I see the holocaust pictures and horrific pre-war anecdotes, which are juxtaposed with antisemitic propaganda that is everywhere in our lives. I'm tired of the envious, mistrustful, irrational, and dehumanizing attitude towards humanity's most erudite culture, the 3000 year old Jewish ethnicity. It is not just a religion...the Jews are a long time literate ethnicity, and this persecution is sickening to any of us with any sense of fairness. To compare, Pakistan was created at the same time as Israel, and this false and corrupt "country" is never challenged by anybody besides Tarek Fatah. I think Ryan seeks justice for his own Metis people through his advocacy work. He has aligned himself with a culture of similar dignity and merit, the Jews. There are no perfect cultures, but the Jews earned his trust, as Ryan read voraciously as a child. He saw the Jewish people give time, technology and their intellectual progress, for the betterment of all people .

What a scam artist. When is this book on "indigenous rights" coming out, Ryan? Over 21 thousand dollars! How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Are you going to refund the money, or just hope that people will forget the donations they foolishly gave? I think the time has come to write this nonsense book, and send me the copy you promised so that I can eviscerate it with my red pen. ;) Here are my two articles where I dissect and destroy your silly racist ideology: http://www.jewishpress.com/indepth/columns/fuchs-focus/263683/2016/03/03/ http://www.jewishpress.com/indepth/columns/fuchs-focus/we-are-still-not-indigenous-a-counter-response/2016/03/28/ And Kara how do you still support this buffoon if you believe that Arabs are "indigenous"? Bird-brains of a feather may nest together, but don't you realize that your perspectives are in opposition?
