Fundraising for the future, for Payton and Madison Desbiens!
Tragically, the girls lost their Mother, Kerri Desbiens August 21 2015. Their grief was horrific, and they struggled to deal with the loss of their mother. Then were dealt an even
greater loss 5 short weeks later, when the youngest daughter went to wake up her father, and he was discovered to have passed away as well :( As you can imagine, the girls were distraught to say the least...they went from a very loving, close knit family of 4, to being orphans in a matter of weeks.
To add insult to injury...Thanksgiving day, the girls received a call from Windsor Police, telling them someone had kicked in their back door, and stole EVERYTHING those children had left. They stole their mothers jewelery, the playstation with 3 years of family photos stored on it, tv's, ect...not to mention their peace of mind!!
I am now asking everyone to PLEASE dig deep!! PLEASE help these girls!! We, as a community, need to band together and show these girls there ARE good people in Windsor!! I'm a firm believer that it takes a community to raise a child...and these children need their community right now!!
There will be a fundraiser Pasta Dinner, Friday, November 27th starting at 5 pm. At The Moose Lodge 777 Tecumseh Rd W, Windsor, Ontario. Tickets will be on sale starting next week for $15. MANY door prizes and games to be played to raise money at the event and entertainment and a bake sale as well!
