RWBY Community Helps Be A Santa!

A little over twenty years ago, Patricia Tallman started an organization to help Penny Lane Centers.  Penny Lane helps troubled children who cannot be placed in regular foster care by providing them with safe places to live.  Every year I try to donate something to Pat's cause - Be A Santa.  Penny Lane is a fantastic organization, and Be a Santa helps by providing the kids with a nice Christmas.  This year their goal is to raise $15,000, and they're off to a good start!  

This is where I want to help.

Four years ago, I stumbled into the RWBY community, and have made many friends in that time.  Most of you know that I started a community project last year:  Writing Prompt Wednesday has been very rewarding, both as a writer and a fan.  Reddit has been a great home for the fandom, and I would like to ask all of you to join us this year as we raise money to make the kids' holidays a little brighter. 

We're aiming for $1000 by November 1st, and I think we can do it.  In recent years I haven't been able to give as much I would have liked, but this year is a better one.  I am confident in my ability to say that I will match donations, up to $500! 

This would mean a lot to me - RWBY and the community have given me so much and helped me through some tough times - I would be eternally grateful for any of you that can help me spread a little holiday cheer.
