Roochute Revival for Mental Health

Spreading positivity is Ron Holgado’s calling. I’ve watched him pursue this in everything he does: whether it’s his day job at the Heart Hospital here in Ohio where he works as a Patient Care Associate, or when he buys coffee for a stranger just to bring a smile to their face.
Where I see it the most, is in his true passion - The Roochute.
Roochute travels across the US bringing positivity to all kinds of neighborhoods and settings. Unfortunately, on a recent trip to spread mental health awareness the Roochute was torn apart by a group of careless individuals. Ron shouldn't have to buy another new parachute on his own.
He has selflessly sacrificed his hard earned money and time to promote mental health awareness and allow others to play with a purpose. It may seem just like a parachute to some, but it's far more than nostalgia back to your favorite day in gym class: it's homage to mental health awareness and a reminder that self-help isn't selfish.
Though Ron has purchased a replacement parachute again and again (8 times!), we can't keep asking him to do this on his own. He's absorbed the costs of the 'chute and various other items like balloons, food, and water for those around. Let's help him out and provide him with a bit of working capital to fund mental health awareness moving forward.
Roochute not only shines a light on the importance of balance in daily life: physically, mentally, and spiritually — committed to ending the stigma surrounding mental health, but also lives by the “pay it forward” mentality – promoting acts of intentional kindness, gratitude, and self-care each and every time the parachute is deployed in public.
Let's give back to Roochute so it can continue giving to others.
