Hurricane Maria destroyed the island of Puerto Rico. I have family and friends all over Puerto Rico but mostly in the town of Toa Alta. More specifically the neighborhood of Rio Lajas. Our home is still standing but the neighborhood has not had power or water since Hurricane Irma hit two weeks before. Many have lost everything.  The island is cash poor and because the power is down in so many places credit cards and debit cards cannot be used to purchase necessities to survive. Any and all donations will go directly to our family and neighbors of Rio Lajas. All contributions no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated. Puerto Rico needs our help...our American islanders desperately need the mainlanders support!
