RI JBGC Cold-Weather Gear Distribution

The Rhode Island branch of John Brown Gun Club, part of the Redneck Revolt community defense network, is raising money to buy cold-weather gear for free distribution to housing insecure and income insecure people living in Providence. 

As temperatures drop, local shelters struggle with capacity, forcing the unlucky to sleep rough on the streets. While we can't increase shelters' capacity, we CAN try to make sleeping outside suck less. 

Help us out. Chip in $1, $5, $10 or however much you can to help us buy things like:

- Blankets

- Socks, Hats, Scarves, and Gloves

- Hand warmers

- Sanitary and Hygiene products

- Jackets and Sweaters

- RIPTA cards (to get to shelters/etc.)

- Narcan (Naloxone) to carry while on our distributions
