Rescue & Man Power Assistance

My co worker Vinny and I are medically trained lifeguards and are undertaking a volunteer operation to the Hurricane Harvey disaster zone. We are from New York and we traveled with my 12 foot Zodiac Boat to help in disaster relief.  We are linked up with multiple rescue units and volunteer groups to aid in water rescue, medical treatment, and transport of supplies. We took time off of work to travel over 30 hours on our own dime to aid in the releif effort. We will be there to assist where ever needed, however we may encounter hurdles along the way as expected. I have been encouraged to start a gofundme so that our efforts and ability to assist aren't limited to what's in our wallets. If you're looking for a way to assist, a few dollars towards us will help with purchase of gas and tolls for the trip there in addition to the food, water, and medical supplies we will provide when we arrive . Any funds that are raised and are not used for the trip to Texas or Louisanna will be immediatly donated to an organization that will continue the aid in this region and disaster. Nothing will be used personally for our own gain; this is for the greater good. We are not looking for recognition or thanks. Just trying to recieve financial assistance to further our efforts. We will be down here for the next 2 weeks. Thank you.
