Polish Club Boston Building Improvement Fund

In celebration of our 80th Anniversary, we are raising money to help repair and maintain this important piece of Polish-American history.

In 1934, members of the Polish American Citizens Club embarked on a bold plan - to construct a building that would become the headquarters of their organization.  Under the guidance of then president Roman Kalnicki, the members found a purchased the property at the corner of Boston Street and Power Street (now Al Zwiercan Way).   The club financed the construction through notes from Polish property owners and through the selling of bricks for the new building and a new home for the PACC was built.

80 years later, this building still stands - but as with any old home, is in need of repairs.   There are many things that we want (and need) to fix to make sure this club is around for the 100th, the 125th and the 200th anniversary!

Some proposed projects:
- fix the leaking roof and replace ceiling tiles
- fix rotting floor under the downstairs bar
- new ice machine
- new dishwasher
- renovate bathrooms
- new letters for the outside of the building
