Stephanie Wilkerson, owner of the Red Hen Restaurant was home this past Friday night when she received word that Trump Administration Press Secretary and her family were having dinner at her small farm to table establishment in Lexington Virginia.
She knew that small Lexington Virginia had voted overwhelmingly against Trump
Stephanie also knew that Sarah Huckabee Sanders worked for an unethical and inhumane administration. Ms Sanders has been defending the administration cruelest policies on a daily basis.
Stephanie felt that this was one of those moments in history when people have to make uncomfortable decisions to uphold America’s Morals.
Several Red Hen employees are gay. Those employees watched Ms. Sanders defend the administration’s attempt to bar transgenders from the military. The staff had most recently also witness Ms. Sanders evade question on the detention of children at the US border with Mexico.
Because of this facts Ms. Wilkerson politely asked Ms. Sanders to speak and requested that she please vacate the premises. Ms Sanders and her family had already eaten and while Ms Sanders offered to pay for the meal, Stephanie covered the cost of dinner.
Stephanie’s action has created a firestorm on the internet with pro-Trump supporters trashing the Red Hen restaurant reviews. Most likely the Red Hen business will be adversely impacted in the coming months this impacting Stephanie’s and her staffs income and tips.
If I lived closer I would be standing in line for dinner.
This fund will be turned over to the Red Hen to use as they see fit. I’m confident that Stephanie will put the money to best use along with input from her employees and family. Let’s support the newest hero’s in the resistance against this administration.

The facilities ratings on social media are being trashed, phones reservations are alledgely being made in an effort to destroy this business. Just today the president of the United States took to social media to trash the Ren Hen. The income of this facility will be negatively impacted for some time because of the actions taken. As such the owner and staffs income will be adversely impacted for some time. It’s time more business stand up to this administrations efforts to mislead America. #resist.
