Operation Back at Home

Recently a U.S. military service member, who is currently deployed over seas, had his home forcefully invaded, burglarized, and stripped of all items of value! His entire lively hood taken, including his young sons personal and prized possessions.

Damages to the home are substantial.  Some of these include plumbing, sewage backup, fire/burn damage, human fecal matter through out the home,  and evidence of heavy drug use . There is also evidence that the involved parties gained access to personal information and his identity during their 3-5 week squatting & robbing of the home. 

 The discovery of his home in that condition was heartbreaking. I was the one that caught these people as I noticed a few odd things out of place that I could not ignore.

This soldier does not even begin to understand the extent of what these people have done to his life, and to have to tell a soldier who is over seas fighting for the freedom of these people who  destroyed and stole everything he has worked his whole life for, is the worst feeling in the world. 

All that I am asking for is some help to try to give this soldier somewhat of a normal life back when he returns from his tour. Just the thought of him returning to nothing is awful and all I want is for him to have a stress free transition when he returns back to his civilian life.  Anything at this point is greatly appreciated.

The funds from this will be used to rebuild his home and replace furniture and personal belongings that were stolen/damaged or contaminated. The estimated total loss with damages is over $100,000.

I would also like to get an awareness out to other families with deployed soldiers to please take any and all measure to secure their life while they are gone. And to help make the community aware of these horrible acts that substance abuse has caused and will continue to cause.
