On Thursday the 19th July 2018 was the worst day of my life I nearly lost my codyboy aged 5 in a house fire.. on the morning of the fire me and my 5 children were sleeping was school holidays so a little sleepin for us all after a big day before was good but sadly it all went so bad for us all at about 7am I woke up to bad smoke and my clothes just melting off me waking up stunned n shocked so fast I ran out the room and couldn’t breath I turned around to see my room and sunroom on fire ..I started screaming out running around trying to gather my family up to get out still yelling out and trying to get to my baby boy screaming out in the room I ran out the house and started hitting the glass door to get to my boy my eldest daughter smashing the glass door trying to help me on the inside I had Gemma and Dane trying to get into the room the fire was getting worse n so was codyboys yelling then all of a sudden I heard nothing then out came Gemma and Dane carrying Cody out I had no idea of Gemma running in that burning room until she came out screaming...little Tyrone crying seeing his brother burnt.. Gemma my 10 year old the hero she couldn’t leave her brother..my partner Brendon was on his way to work until he drove past to see our house on fire that me and my children decided we needed a change and to move in ...it’s heart breaking me everyday seeing my boy wrapped up down Westmead hospital it’s a melt down with all my family and I actually broke down 2 days ago it’s starting to kick in and it hurts my big heart of gold is broken 35 percent of his body is burnt some deep burns on his body his lost all 8 fingers to his knuckles but has 2 thumbs left he has burns to his face to knees they have done so many skin grafts on my boy but his getting better everyday even though it’s so sad for me n my family I would like to Thankyou to everyone that came to rescue us all from the burning house which is now gone with things we started buying together brendon n I ... was starting to feel like home and we loved it... after coming out of a horrible domestic violence relationship with ex then to moving onto something better then something went wrong and now I’m broken ..not sure how long but could be months before we leave at the Ronald mc Donald house I need everyone to prey my boy gets better and we can rebuild our life’s again when we leave Thankyou to all Westmead hospital team for making us stronger n saving our little man,we are all traumatised..
Regards,jade.
