 SEATTLE, WA
For emergent  needs of the Rosebud Camp in Standing Rock, ND. Wood, Propane, gas and other needs that directly support the camp.
My names Jennifer Eaglespeaker as many other folks I was mortified over the scenes from Standing Rock. I travelled over with the Cascadia and backbone campaign to see how I could help. While visiting and working with my kids there we saw that there were quite an amount of needs. My kids and I thought what can we do we are from Seattle. So we decided to collect items needed and sent them over. Soon folks wanted to just send money as it would be more direct than shipping and gas. Then the leaders of the Rosebud camp we stayed in could get vitally needed supplies them selves locally and thus fell the local community. So we started a go fund me. We have helped fix vehicles, house the sick, feed the hungry, put gas in vehicles, bought wood and many other varrious needs as they have risen. The Rosebud camp we stayed in got very little help from the SRST and so I thought well let's see what we can do we have since met our original goal and raised the goal. I'm quite proud of our Rosebud family and pray that this transition  of different camps as one goes smoothly and successfully. As the camp changes so shall this portal of good will and help. We will be taking down camp now and moving to a new location. All funds have gone to Curly and Dona the leaders and care takers of Rosebud camp. They are humble people and never ask for money. Rosebud camp is a peaceful camp a prayerful camp. They need all the help they can get. AHO thank you for all your support of Roaebud Camp remember Water is life ❤️ Mni WiConi!

Still standing in Standing Rock. This is the msg. To the people from Rosebud camp. It is FEBRUARY now and the stand continues. Clean up continues and there is still a move to be done. Things are slow and cold. **They still desperately need gas funds. ** The army core of engineers has granted access. But there has also been some major Divestment news on the home lines. Seattle folks had a major victory getting the city of Seattle to drop Wellsfargo as their bank of choice removing Billions of dollars! We must do everything that is possible. Take this fight to your communities. Ask your city leaders to Divest in this Black snake. Folks are returning this week and the veterans are said to be returning soon as well. Rosebud folks are strong though. Things have heated up videos of violence are real and there are law enforcement with silencers on their guns perhaps just a scare tactic but it's there. Rumors come and go but in the end We stand. We stand. We stand. Please help our folks in Rosebud camp.

Hello friends and family of Rosebud camp. Just wanted to give you an update. This go fund me has always been to help folks in Rosebud camp. You can see a list off needs on the Facebook page. Some of them filled by this gofundme and I thank you all for making that happen. I share this picture of the Sun setting on Rosebud camp because we are moving. There has been a number of concerns and leadership has decided not to leave but instead to occupy a nearby parcel of land offered up by a local citizen. It is walking distance from the current camp though in the snow maybe not so much. Our people were nomadic and in this current state we are moving camp. There is much to do and the needs for gas and physical helpers is high. As any one that has been there can attest to the large accumulation of garbage and take down are highest priorities. Gas is highly needed for these back and forth trips. Lots to move. Please Rise up and join the resistance, Stand with Standing Rock!

Ok folks want to update you. I have fully discussed the concerns of camp with leaders in camp and leaders of Rosebud tribe and leaders of non native water protectors, many people. The word is we have to go. People need to help with clean up ASAP! This is an emergent notice. There are many concerns at this moment. Everybody has been given 30days notice. Yes even those camped on private land and reservation land. The ice will brake and flooding is expected for the whole area. People are sending trucks but we need gas money! We need everything gone. Yes a small contingent of folks are staying to provide help to those cleaning up and security. But there is a large mess to clean up. Money here goes straight to Donna and Curly and that is agreed with still by Rosebud tribe. There's concerns of a night raid. The new president does not care for Indians at all! So yes the concern has risen. There is also a concern the ice could break or be broken up and flood all the camps. So much is needed to address these concerns. Please help Rosebud camp and if you can go help please do. This is official word from all leaders! Please help us.

Dear folks today I marched in the women's March in downtown Seattle and while I was still there I received word of some disturbing news. I heard that there was a concern of a possible raid this evening. As if 12:35am I have heard NO news of an actual raid happening. How ever it is my understanding that some folks left because of that concern. I have never heard of such a concern from our Rosebud group over there. Even when fires where put out and Facebook updates were made they stood strong. Also please excuse excessive posts this evening. Seems a non native group from North Dakota of law enforcement and friends of DAPL descended down soon my Facebook and go fund me sight posting nasty comments. A whole parade of them troll type folks. I would never mean to cause a panic so I have decided to post an additional update to my last one before I go to sleep. (It's 1am) Any how I'm no one special no one important I'm no one. I'm a mom that simply decided to stand up and see what I could do for my people. I got a call. I went I worked I gave I learned and I left a piece of my self there. My kids and I just want to do what we can. We have even physically picked up donations all over the city and beyond just to send to camp. Rosebud camp. Why there? That's where we stayed. If you have been up please rest. I promise to update immediately no matter the hour. Apinokotsi
