On Valentine's Day, Putnam's Pub & Cooker had an unfortunate fire that has put our beloved local spot out of commission for the foreseable future. We would like to raise some money to help the staff with their incidentals while work is being done. They have all always been so kind, generous and accommodating to their neighbors who frequently visit them for a drink or something to eat. We would like to return the hospitality.
Please give what you can - every amount helps. Maybe what you would normally spend on a pint or some fries. A lot of little bits can go a long, long way.
Putnam's has been a very welcome addition to Fort Greene / Clinton Hill since it opened its doors and whether you go for Trivia Night, the Saturday night Dance Party or just a great brunch with friends, they have always offered a smile on a friendly face. Now, we can all return the favor by helping them out when they need it the most. So, let's show them so real Brooklyn love and like a phoenix, Putnam's too, will rise from the ashes. It's the Brooklyn way...
