Help Me Keep My Home

My name is Deanna (Dee for short). I've lived in this home for so many years but recently I've come into hardship.

A year or so ago I worked for Walmart, but because of my supervisor sexually harassing me and my opening a case against him, when I quit my name was slandered pretty much across my town. He told employers in other stores that I was a horrible worker and the stores didn't want to hire me because I came out against my sexual harasser.

The only jobs I had been able to get to help sustain myself paid so little I couldn't pay my rent fully each month. I've gone two or three months without gas or electricity even with a job. Sadly, only being able to pay 300-400 a month out of the rent I have to pay, I owe my landlord a lot of money and am in danger of losing my home.

I work two jobs but I am just barely making enough to pay off my bills minus food to feed myself and my roommate. He is no longer happy with us paying what we can give him and is threatening to evict us.

We owe him 5,438 dollars in back rent, and I understand why he wants to boot us. We were debating on finding a different place to live but there is no home within our price range. When we're out, we're out and we're screwed.

I do hate to ask, but we desperately need help. I don't have the time or gas money to afford a third job and my roommate is disabled.

Any little bit will help, please. I can't lose this home.
