Julie Yackely is a Korean adoptee who has lost both her adoptive parents. Her mother died of cancer when she was just a child, and her dad died of ALS last year.
Eight months ago, Julie traveled to Korea in search of her biological mother. After a long and emotional journey, the results were disappointing. The woman living at the address she was given was, in fact, not her biological mom. After returning home to the states, Julie has not let the disappointment of her search stop her drive to find someone, anyone, that could be her family.
Because of her relentless search, a Korean adoptee advocate known as "Sergeant Lee" has taken a personal interest in her case. Miraculously, He has located Julie's birth father and he wants to meet her!!!
