A brother or sister for Eric

My husband RJ and I have been married for almost 8 years. We have a beautiful son Eric who is 10. We knew from the beginning that we wanted to have more children so we let life take its course. After the first year of not being pregnant we consulted a doctor and started doing testing. They started me on some medication and had high hopes that it would be the miracle pill. As it turned out that didn't work. They also started me on an HCG shot once a month. Every month we were driving 2 hours round trip sometimes twice a month just to see the doctor. We even had "special" Sunday appointments. This went on for 5 years. After we had all decided that the treatments they were doing weren't going to work, they referred us to an In vetro clinic in Fargo. We did some more testing there and I had to take a class to learn how it all worked. After that was all said and done we then learned how much it was going to cost. over $26,000 for ONE cycle. RJ and I both decided that wasn't an option any more since we had just purchased a home. So, we took a year off.  My heart was breaking, I felt like I was falling apart and I was a failure. One day I was talking with my friend Missy and she told me about a doctor in Alex, and how amazing she was. I didn't know if I wanted to go back into all of this or not but I knew deep inside that if I didn't try I would never succeed. I started doctoring in Alex, they put me on a different kind of medication and my hopes were high! But, unfortunately they didn't work either. It has been a long a hard road for us, we have never had an answer as to why we can't get pregnant. It just doesn't work. So, that being said, we want to try in vetro. If I didn't have the support system I have I think we would have called it quits years ago. Please help us grow our family, we have been praying for years and slowly and eventually our dreams will come true, but until then we will NOT give up!
