We are Beck and Brock Paul. We have been married almost 16 years and were high school sweet hearts! We have 4 children, Ashton, Hanna, Averie and Hudson. Hudson was adopted from China is 2013 and he has been doing wonderful! Since he came home, I have become an advocate for orphans. I see many childrens stories on a daily basis and share them in hopes of finding them a forever family.
Last week (Jan 9th, 2016) I saw a post come through on Facebook about twin 2 year old boys urgently needing a family. They are in China, they both have a rare brain malformation and they need to come home. I advocate for many children and I usually share their link and move on. Well these boys were tugging at my heart. I shared their story and tried to move on. Each day over the weekend I couldn't stop thinking about them. I mentioned them a few times to Brock and he listened to me but had very few words to say.
Monday comes around and I am just stuck thinking about them. I am worried because they have until this Friday, (Jan 15th, 2016) for a family to say yes to them before their file is pulled. It may not become available for families to see for months, years, possibly never again. Then I get a text from my husband "You can submit the needed stuff, but no and I mean no, commitments or charges at all". So, I made contact with the agency and completed the first few steps.
We have fallen in love with these little boys. We were told we were a great match for them. But, we need major funds to get them home.
We need $1500 by this Friday (Jan 15) to be able to move forward and for their files to not get taken away. It will be $500 to apply to the adoption agency and $1000 for the document processing for the preapproval from China to adopt the boys. If we dont have it by Friday afternoon their file will be pulled and we will not be able to adopt them.
Adoption is very costly. There are many people involved in the process and many steps. We do not have the necessary funds to bring these boys home, but we have the funds, room in our house, access to the medical care they need and plenty of love to give them. They say it takes a village and we need a village to pull together to help give these boys a chance at life. They currently live in an orphanage and this is where they would remain until they are 14 years old and at that age, they chilren are out on their own, with little education, no money or family. I will be breaking down the fees soon, so you can understand why we are needing to raise this large of an amount.
Every single penny raised from this will go towards adoption. If there happens to be more raised then necessary for us to complete the adoption of the boys, we will donate it to another family who needs financial assistance.
At this time I can not share their photo, it is not allowed until we have approval from China to adopt them. If we raise the first $1500 by Friday, I will be able to share photos and videos soon!
