Mobilize a Patriot!

Hello fellow Patriots and Friends,

Thank you so much for your interest in this fundraiser to help Mobilize a Patriot! It has been a pleasure meeting many of you and working with the AMAZING Recall team and I am honored to say hello and share my story.

My name is Maxi Greenwood, a southern California resident and small freelance business owner. I have been a passionate volunteer with the Recall effort since it started in June and have been loving every minute of it. Recently I "hit a road bump" with my vehicle and it has been making volunteering a lot harder on me. I wanted to reach out to the team for some support on the journey because I plan on finishing this recall strong with all of you, and with a bang!!!

So what happened, my 2005 Jeep SUV broke down a month ago and we found out it is in need of a new engine. After weighing many options, I just connected with a great shop and the cost of repair works out to be $1,900 which includes the installation and a small warranty.

To get to my events the past month, I have been having to take Uber/Lyft rides while I save for the repair. However, the Uber costs have been through the roof! (Sometimes $120 to $150 per week) As lately I have been volunteering three full 8-hour days a week. This mishap has also prevented me from driving to Orange county where I was getting a bulk of the signatures as I currently reside in North county San Diego. Once I get my wheels back, I plan on going to Orange county more often where I can hit bigger events and larger crowds. As we all know that's what it takes for success with this recall!

A bit about my background: I got involved with the recall when it started in late June, just as the "Open California" rallies slowed down, but my heart remained fired up to create change in our home state and country.  So, I started volunteering two full 8- hour days on the weekends right off the bat. Working on my own most of the time, I was gathering about 400-500 signatures per weekend in the beginning.

Many people have asked me why am I so passionate about the recall? Well first off, my small freelance Bartending and Event Coordinating business was heavily impacted by the unconstitutional lockdows. It's been very hard to tell when business will ever pick back up again and I lost a majority of my clientele because of it.  Second, being a passionate beach lover and surfer- I was also greatly affected by the beach closures in April of this year. Lastly, as an experienced Nanny and youth camp counselor, my main motivation has been the children. Making California a better, safer and more wholesome place for our youth has been my main motivating factor in working this recall.

Like many Americans, I have lost friends over the civil unrest that our country has been facing and have lost a lot of family ties as well. But what I have gained are some very valuable friendships and connections with our Patriot family across California and for this I am ever so grateful!

It has been an absolute honor to work with all of you and I look forward to the celebration day when our goal has been reached. Until then, I just want to say THANK YOU so much for ALL your hard work with this recall effort and for your unwavering support of the team!

Wishing You ALL many Blessings, Strength and Success!! :-)

Warmest Regards,
