#Operation Menstruation ROUND II

Hi guys. My name is Faustine. And I am REALLY excited to tell you guys that I am heading back to the Village of Awake in Northern Uganda in March of this year . In 2014 I launched a campaign  that was a huge success because of many people (119 donors) !! We provided 650 girls with a years supply of reusuable menstruation kits which included a hygiene kit as well as reusuable pads.

It was the largest outreach of it's kind in the Otuke District in Northern Uganda. I am feeling drawn to continue my efforts in fundraising for the woman and young girls - and so myself, and 2 other musicians decided to do another round of fundraising for #OPERATIONMENSTRUATION !!

This go around myself, Mikey and Brent will be heading to Northern Uganda for a music exchange: SAME (Seattle Awake Music Exchange). Our objective with this campaign is to raise funds to purchase another round of Afripads and any other Medical Supplies needed for the Kristina Health Clinic, one of our stops while over in Uganda.

100% of the funds donated will be directly deposited to the Achon Childrens Fund (AUCF), a 501c non-profit in Uganda - started by Julius Achon, a native Ugandan and former Olympian who started AUCF to help the community rebuild from the past through improved health care and education.

Julius's story is remarkable, and his heart is that of gold.
