Dear Friends & Family,
The time has finally come and this month I celebrate 40 years of life on this earth. It’s been an interesting ride to say the least but one thing for certain is that I’ve been blessed with great friends and a loving family. I could have never made it this far if it wasn’t for the continual support and love as well as the unbreakable bonds of friendships I have made thus far.
To mark my 40th birthday, I am forgoing all organized birthday celebrations. Instead, I've decided to give back and do what makes me happiest by putting smiles on peoples faces. Specifically, bringing smiles those less fortunate who could use a reminder about the kindness and good that DOES exist in this tumultuous world we now live in.
For this occasion, I would like to raise some funds for the activities below. There were so many worthy charities that touched me and I was torn in deciding which to support that I asked myself ‘Why not help them all?” Spread the love and help bring smiles to kids who would really benefit from some positive energy, love and compassion. Will you join me to help bring some smiles to these kids?
PROJECT #1: Sponsor four terminally-ill children so that they can have a final wishcome true. I am doing this in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
PROJECT #2: Donate 40 wheel-chairs to underprivileged, disabled children through out Thailand. The children are being hand selected by The Education for Development Foundation Charity of Thailand.
PROJECT #3: Donate 40kg of clothes and toys to Rohignya refugees in Thailand displaced in camps located in Southern Thailand as they flee their country from religious persecution.
HOW IT WILL WORK:
The first donations will go to sponsoring four kids at Make-A-Wish Charity. Each kid requires about 15k THB (~$500 USD) to make their wish come true. I am sponsoring one kid so we're already one step closer.
If together we can fulfill the total amount then the ensuing donations will go to purchasing 40 wheelchairs to be donated to children all around Thailand. The children are being selected by The Education for Development Foundation. Each wheelchair cost 5k THB (~$150 USD). The wheelchairs will be sent directly to the children.
MAKING DONATIONS:
You can donate as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. Maybe you'd even like to sponsor a child's wish or purchase a wheelchair? Whatever the amount, I would be deeply appreciative of your kindness shared with the kids. Remember, no amount is too small to help bring a smile to a kid or make a difference in their life.

MAKING SMILES
Throughout and beyond this fundraising activity, I will post pictures of the four kids who had their wish fulfilled and of the children who recieve a wheelchair. I will try to accompany at least one of the kids on their "wish" and also meet some of the kids who recieved a wheelchair. I'll also, if allowed, go to the refugee camp and personally distribute the clothes and toys collected for this charity event on our behalf. Can you help me make a smile for these kids?
