North East Sling Library's Carriers for All Campaign
The North East Sling Library has been supporting families to carry their babies big and small by offering sling hire and advice for nearly 8 years. Humans are biologically programmed to want to be held. The need for contact with a care giver is a primary instinct for children.
In 2017, we sucessfully crowd funded to raise money for a free long term loan scheme for families suffering from PND or babies/children with a life-long or life-limiting conditions. Thank you to everyone who donated.
Well we are back and this time, we are continuing our fundraising efforts. We have been donated 50 Nuby Natural Touch Rhythm Breast Pumps. I would like these to go to families who need pump or who couldn't afford one normally. All we ask is that you donate what you can afford. Money raised will be splilt between the Sling Library and two charities, Mind and MSF. I am running the GNR and Sunderland Half Marathons this year and hope my efforts will be enough for you to donate.
