No One Wants To Be Alone At Xmas

As some of you may know, Sian and I are organising a Fund-Raising night at the Limetree on the 15th December 2018. The reason for this event is that we want to raise as much money as possible to be able to provide a wonderful Xmas Day Dinner/Party for elderly people who would otherwise be on their own at Christmas.
Christmas is, for most people the most loving and festive time of the year, however it can be very lonely for some and that’s what we want to help to change.
We would like to raise money to provide a three-course meal for around 50 people. This would mean hiring a chef on Xmas Day, which as you can imagine won’t come cheap. We want to be able to decorate the place to make it as festive as possible. We would like to arrange transport for people to be collected and dropped off if that will be an issue for them. We would also like to get a small present for each person attending.
Sian and I have had very kind gestures from people who own/are part of businesses who have very kindly offered prizes for the event at Limetree, however we have had people asking how they can donate. Of course, we want everyone to attend the event on the 15th, but this is a way for people to donate.
We have started the goal post at £500 hoping to raise the rest at the event, however we of course want as much raised as possible!
Please dig deep this is for a good cause and we can’t do it without support from the community
