Global Medical Brigades: Nicaragua

Hello everyone, I'm a Public Health major at UNC Charlotte. I am involved in the Global Medical Brigades (GMB) program at my school. We fundraise all year to raise enough money to buy medical supplies. We have reached our goal and have raised enough to buy all the medical supplies we need! Now I need to raise enough money to fund my plane ticket, food, lodging and transportation to and from clinics. There we will be going to a rural area to provide medical assistance alongside doctors and dentists. These people are very far away from hospitals where it may take a 3 day walk or a bus fee that they cannot afford to get there. My deadline is February 3rd, any donations will help me get one step closer to helping others.
GMB means so much to me because it combines everything that I love which is helping others and traveling. I have always wanted to travel outside of the country and be able to interact with those that I am helping. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will allow me to reach out and help others.
