Two sisters, one living with her adoptive family and the other living as an orphan on the other side of the world, have found each other in the most unexpected way. What's happening for these girls is a miracle unfolding.
As a DNA company our days are filled with fascinating stories. But this one stood out as truly astounding! Our company, My Forever DNA , was so touched that we decided to help this family bring this little girl home.

The story:
Sidney, her husband and their two children live in California. Their oldest daughter Ellie is 7 years old, and their youngest daughter is 3 years old. Both children were adopted from Asia.
About a year ago, Ellie's grandmother saw a photo of a 5 year old little girl, living under the care of an orphanage in the same region where Ellie was found. This little girl looked so much like Ellie. Could it be? After more photos were seen by all, they were totally convinced the resemblance was remarkable.
Because both girls were abandoned shortly after birth with no family history, Sidney and her husband had to know if this girl could be their daughter's sibling. In their hearts they needed to have the answer.
After contacting many DNA testing companies, the family reached out to us here at MyForeverDNA. Our sibling DNA test confirmed: the girls are half sisters. A miracle - a family had found each other!
Unfortunately, it costs a lot of money to adopt a child internationally. The family has adopted twice before by using their own savings. However, this time they do not have the money, because quite simply they were not expecting to adopt again. Despite this, they are deperately doing whatever they can to raise funds.
