Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women USA hit the ground running 3 yrs ago and never looked back. Our women go missing at 4 times the rates of other races. On some (Yakama and Montana) it is 10 times the normal rate. Over the 3 years we have been operational we have helped over 300 families with all kinds of thing like funeral/headstone or any other bills they have related to the MMIW incident. We fill gaps that society has left us with.

Having said that we are starting a new program. Staying Sacred Protection Camp is geared for our little girls and teenagers. The best medicine is "preventative medicine" and that's what Staying Sacred is all about. At the camp out we will be rolling out a lesson on self defense, trafficking awareness, saying no means no, cultural crafting, generational trauma and most important is how we build empowerment through our culture and how to hold on to that as we rebuild our society and set the tone for the next 7 Generations.

Well have 3 more happy people today. We have given to the family of Arial Begay who was tragically murdered last year. This family was also hit with the death of Ariel’s mother too as Ariel’s death took a toll on her fight against cancer. Her sisters Val is raising all the children. They are from the Navajo Nation. We also donated to one of the two worst cases we have see. Savanna Greywind was kidnapped when she was 8 months pregnant. The women and man had kidnapped her wanted her baby and they removed her baby then murdered her. This family has fought and fought because Savanna was alive for a few days before they did this. Savanna was reported missing the first night she didn’t show up but it took police 5 days to search and they found the baby in a apartment that they had barely looked at. These are the things we face every day.

Again thank you all so much! We have already started giving families the funds and they are so grateful!! We sent money for the search for Ashley Heavy Runner Loring, that’s the family I told you about out of Montana. Part of the family lives in Portland so we have direct contact with them. We also gave $300 to a family in Oklahoma and they are raising their grandson and this will be the first Christmas without her. I will update you as we go along. Our Oklahoma mother was so shocked and happy, she couldn’t believe it! You all made this happen and I will be forever thankful for the care you have shown❤️
