Miracle Baby Livia

In this time of need, I personally don't know of any other family more deserving than Emily and Kurtis. In December of 2018, they finally welcomed their miracle baby girl into the world. They named her Livia. Shortly after she was born, Doctors began running tests because something was not quite right.  After waiting what seemed to be an eternity, the results came back; they were not good. The results revealed that Livia has a brain condition that impairs her feeding ability and muscle strength. After spending close to a month in the NICU, Emily and Kurtis are still awaiting results of testing to know more details about the condition. Due to her lack of ability to tolerate oral feedings, Livia had surgery to insert a feeding tube going directly to her stomach. She has finally been able to leave the hospital and go home but there is still a long road ahead. She has many more appointments including: with the neurologist, the surgeon, long term care with the feeding clinic, and many hours of physical therapy. As you can imagine, medical bills are mounting quickly. Emily is currently on leave from work so that she can be with her baby during this difficult time. Emily and Kurtis do not like to ask for help, I know the funds donated will go to help pay for all of the medical expenses prior and ones to come.  If there is anyway you can help this wonderful family, it would be greatly appreciated.
