With the support of the City of Milwaukee the Milwaukee Bike-In Movie Series is proud to announce its 2018 season. This grassroots event has depended on your generous financial support over the last decade.
Continue keeping the spirit of this communal experience alive by donating today. Sponsors will be announced before every monthly screening June-October, both during the film introduction and during a slideshow where traditional movie advertisements would occur. Additionally, sponsors will be mentioned in on-going digital media outreach via the Milwaukee Bike-In Movie Series Facebook page. As a special thank you donors of $100 or more will receive their own Team Nerd Letterpress collectable print. Donations of all sizes are appreciated. Help us fund this community event and create a safe space to celebrate the glorious diversity of Milwaukee's bicycle community.
The Milwaukee Bike-In Movie Series occurs the 3rd Friday of every month June-October at 8 PM below the Holton Street Bridge at Swing Park, 1737 N. Water St.
Help us fund our 2018 Season!
June 15th: The Wiz
July 20th: Wayne's World
August 17th: Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit
September 21st: Back to the Future Part III
October 19th: Ernest Scared Stupid
Our $2800 budget for the season includes, the rights to each film at a cost of $350 each, $500 for portable bathroom facilities, $300 Team Nerd Letterpress Posters/Marketing, $200 for a new Blu-Ray/DVD player and cords to help us better screen community shorts and sponsor messages, and miscellaneous fees. Any remaining funds will be used to provide incentives to those who ride their bicycles to the film. We need at least $800 by June 8th to start our season on-time, according to plan.
