McCrae Multimedia's vision of this annual donation drive started from this conversation with my oldest daughter, who is now 9-years-old:
Daughter (sees homeless man): Daddy, his signs says "homeless, anything will help" and I don't like seeing people hungry and homeless.
Me: How does that make you feel?
Daughter: "It's sad and it's not fair.
Me: Okay, so what? Those are just words honey. Words without action won't do anything. What are you going to do about it?
Daughter: I can feed them and buy them food with money from my piggy bank.
Me: Is that what you want to do love? You want to provide some homeless people with food?
Daughter: Yes, it will at least make them not be hungry for a little while.

Last year, on Thanksgiving morning, we had a team of people (kids, entrepreneurs, volunteers, etc.) driving around and fully engaging with homeless people found walking the streets, sleeping near buildings, etc. With your donations, we were able to provide them with hand warmers, hats, gloves, mouthwash, socks, granola bars, bottles of water, clothes, and many more items. 100% of the funds were appropriately allocated and this effort is truly meant to be a blessing to others, so please don't hesitate to participate. :-)
This year, we invite you to assist this movement through a monetary contribution, through giving of your time, and/or sharing this post. Any form of support is appreciated and welcomed. We will be leading by example and allow our youth to prepare bags and packages. Let's spread a positive message that is monumental through our actions collectively. The entire jorney will be documented with pictures and videos.
McCrae Multimedia is more than just a media company, we're a ministry and we are proud to be partnering with LIFE Church Minsitries with gathering donations and giving on Thanksgiving morning. If you have old clothes that you want to get rid of, please wash them, bag them and contact James McCrae directly via Facebook for dropoff information.
