Maxx and Vaughna Lost Everything

Max and Vaughna have lost everything in the Camp Fire and need immediate help. (This picture was about 6 hours before the fire broke out) Maxx works as a foreman electrician at our family's construction company out of El Dorado Hills. This week, he was home with his 4-year old Lucas after his wife had given birth to their daughter and was still in the hospital (that burned down that day) with some complications. He woke up to a black smokey sky and realized that fire was coming quickly toward their house. He grabbed Lucas and took off in their car. The fire got so close that it blew out their car windows and tires so they got out of the car and started running. They got cut off from the fire on the road and had to run back to the car. He told his son goodbye as he didn't believe they would survive. Miraculously the car started again and they were able to continue down the road to safety. Vaughna and the baby were picked up by a CHP to go from the hospital ICU in Paradise to Chico. They also got stuck by the fire on a road and didn't know if they'd make it out. Another conversation of goodbyes, as Vaughna told Maxx that she would see him and Lucas in heaven. But miraculously again, they made it out. This family has now been reunited. They are staying in Vaughna's hospital room. As soon as they are released, they will be headed to Folsom where a friend is setting up a house for them to stay in for now. I want to give this family whatever they need for everyday living expenses and your donation will help.  It's unknown what their insurance policies will cover. Maxx's commuter car was in the shop the day of the fire so he has that. But they lost their regular car and truck along with the house and everything they own. Maxx is a hardworking young man and is trying to get back to his job as soon as possible. This family is so appreciative of the love and support of others. Let's show them some phenomenal human kindness. Anything helps. Thank you friends. *At the time of this post, Maxx's mom was found alive, but his father and brother are still missing after running for their lives from their burning car on the road to escape.
