Nathaniel was living here (in rural South Carolina) with his Mom when Hurricane Hugo came through many years ago and Ripped the shingles from their home. The elements and years since that time have completely destroyed the residence. His mother has since passed and he is currently living here alone.
Nathaniel has a job as a temporary worker, making just enough money to get by and has no benefits. Please give a little if you can; it could mean a whole new life for him. If you can only give $1 please do, if you have the means and can do more that would be appreciated as well.
A group of volunteers with a South Carolina summer camp called Salkehatchie will begin the process of rebuilding his house during the 4th of July Week. Nathaniel will need much more support to continue the efforts and make this house feel like home again. All the proceeds will go to Nathaniel to help him jump start his life back on the path of healing.
