Protect The Golden Pond Sanctuary

Ducks and geese at our Orem community pond are turning up dead. We first thought it was something in the water, but we've since discovered it's something we never thought would happen in our own backyards. Our friendly, feathery friends are being killed with a BB gun.
As days go by more turn up killed with a count of 10+ at this point.
Almost every evening, our pond serves as a sort of gathering place for the people in the neighborhood, a sanctuary if you would for these beautiful creatures and our neighbors to enjoy.
We are heartbroken over feathery friends and concerned about the safety of our pets and children. We don't understand why anyone would do this.
We do know that we can't stand by and watch this happen. We are looking to heighten security by installing security cameras and hanging public warnings to help secure and protect our Golden Pond and its rescued and protected residence.
Please help in our efforts... Every bit helps!
