Who are we:
We are a group made up of ordinary people profoundly touched by the murder of Lyra McKee and we will walk from Belfast to Derry~Londonderry for three days starting the 25th until 27th of May in response to the murder.
Where are we from:
We are a small core group of people from Belfast.
Why are we fundraising:
The response to Lyra's Walk has been overwhelming, we're expecting a large crowd upwards of 500 people as it stands. We are asking people to support us any way they can, whether it be through funding support or joining the walk.

How the funds will be used:
Funds raised will contribute to running costs of the event and will pay for things such as first aid equipment, event insurance, campsite facilities, transport, printing costs, fuel and so forth. We cannot stress enough that the money will be solely spent on the running costs of the walk and any surplus donations will be donated to the Suicide Prevention and mental health awareness charity “Mindskills” at the request of Lyra's family.
Our relationship to the parties we're raising funds for:
We are raising funds to facilitate the running costs of the event. Money will be received, distributed and recorded by our treasurer Christopher Pattison.
