Love Army for Michael

This is Michael. Michael is my 12-year-old neighbor who lives with his great-uncle and his mom in Augusta, GA. Michael just started the 7th grade. He loves helping me garden in my yard, telling corny jokes, and listening to classical music when he has the opportunity which is not often - Beethoven is his favorite. In fact, he told me his dream was to learn how to play the piano. He is one of the kindest, most thoughtful little kids I have ever met. For example, I often find him on our street picking up litter. He has a heart of gold. 

Unfortunately, his family is behind on their power bill and do not have electricity in their home (it's in the 90 degrees, y'all). Because of this, he was moved to a hotel, out of his school district, into a bad area, and doesn't have a ride to and from school. He needs to live in his uncle's house so he can have access to the school bus. This is where WE come in! I would like to raise funds to have his power turned back on and to assist with future power bills, other utilities, groceries, and any additional, basic necessities that arise. In addition to funds, donations of clothing, school supplies, groceries, a dresser, sheets, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I want Michael to focus solely on his schoolwork and not have to worry about where he will be sleeping, if he can get a ride to school, or if he will have food in his belly.
