LOCAL VFD ASSIST, NOLAN CNTY

Working fires like the 9 mile hill fire is hard on people and equipment. Roscoe VFD has two trucks that broke down due to working on this fire. There have been other trucks that suffered tire damage due to the terrain, rocks, and other hazards that firefighting requires you to work around. While the Sweetwater FD is paid, the others do it for free, volunteering their time to fix the trucks they have so they can go help the people in their neighborhoods. If you can spare anything, we know the cost of this fire is going to be higher than most due to the terrain and proximity to houses which makes us fight that much harder and work that much longer.
They would appreciate any donations as far as water and supplies. We know that any cash donations would go a long way in getting their equipment back up and running.
