Man On A Mission 2015

Hello everyone, my name is Justin.
A little about myself, I am a former U.S. Marine, currently using the G.I. Bill to go to school. This is how I am bettering myself.
The year of 2015 is the year that I plan on starting to help change the world in my own way. I have titled this year of my life "Man on a Mission." The acronym is MOM. Nurturing, right?
The "Mission" that I am gearing up for is a hike from Central Florida to my brother-in-law's in Brooklyn, New York. The goal of this hike is to raise money for: Wounded Warrior Project, The Children’s Hunger Project, and others if the proper funds are raised.
The journey itself is 1,122 miles from start to finish. I would like to finish within 22 days, in order setting a world record, but I WILL take no more that 32 day as an alternative.
My main companionship and source of entertainment along the way will be my German Sheppard, "Tank".  He is a friend and a riot.
My family is great supports both physically and mentally: My wife, Rachel, maintains my diet and plays the role of my safety vehicle during my training; My mother, Lynda, is going to help me build the gear that I will be using during the trip; My step-parents, Elaine and Daniel, will be accompanying me along the entire journey with their fifth-wheel RV, stopping every 50 miles to ensure that I reach me check point on a daily to bi-daily basis; They will also be the keeper of my supplies, food and water.
This is my plight and my DREAM; will you help me? And if so, together we WILL make a difference, and change the world for the better.
