Play Space at Little Neetchers

What? A play space at Little Neetchers, don't they aleady have one? Yes, we currently have a small play area, BUT this is different. This is BIGGER, and will be filled with great play options! This has been something we have been wanting to get started for a while, and something parents are asking for.
This NEW indoor playspace will take up most of the space in the second half of our store. We will be going from a 40 SF play spot...to around a 500 SF indoor play area! Just know that we are not "decreasing" our inventory in any way. We will have the same items. We are just moving them around and using our space to it's fullest!
How will this work? The play space will be $5 per kid. Each additional kid will be just $2 if you have more than one. There will be options for 1/2 price play times, monthly memberships, and reduced or free play options with a purchase. The space will be designed using natural wood materials, hopefully little to no plastic! This is where most of the expense comes in. This space will be safe, natural, and full of fun play stuff! To accomplish this we just need a little help to make it happen!
The play space will include:
-A full kitchen area: with cooking utensils, fake food, sink, fridge, and bins with options for kids to get creative and make their own "food"
- A play "park" with a fort, bridge, and slide
- A magnet wall
- Sensory area
- Reading nook
- Chalk boards
- Big Blocks
- Pushable and ridable toys
- Comfortable seating area for parents
I know up here in the northland the winters can be long, and it can be very hard to find fun new places to hang out with your little ones where you can enjoy yourself too. We want this place to be a hangout for parents! Each parent can take advantage of our coffee/tea maker, and help themselves to a hot beverage. You can meet friends here, visit and have adult conversation, let the little ones play, and have coffee! This playspace will cater to little ones from 6 months (all toys safe for babies, so no risk of choking) to 5 years, and we will ask older kids to play with little ones in mind. The NEET Hangout will be a place where your kids can be kids, use their imaginations, and play!
If this is something you'd love to have in the Duluth area, help us get it built! If we exceed our goal we will be able to put even more cool stuff in the playspace. Here are the details! This will work more like a "kickstarter" campaign as you are paying for something you will receive once we are up and running. With a $50 donation you will get you 12 FREE play days (which is a reduced price from the standard $5/visit, which would be $60)! This way you can help us, and save on 2 FREE play days! To do this please add a comment to your donation saying you would like the FREE play! Once the space is finished you can stop in and grab your Play Card, start using it right away, and we will punch it for every visit. If you wish to donate beyond the $50, all those funds will go directly to the playspace too. We are hoping, if all goes well, to have the space up and running in January.
