Little George’s Neuroblastoma Fight

The beginning of 2019 has been a tough start for the Davidson family. After discovering a tumour the size of a tennis ball in Little George’s body, Katie (mum) and George (dad) travelled down to the Royal Children’s Hospital for a biopsy. They spent a week their while doctors performed a series of tests. A meeting was scheduled for 18th of January, where they were giving the devastating news that George at 15 months of age has stage 4 Neuroblastoma, which has spread in two spots (right arm and leg). Little George has a long 18 month battle ahead of him, with many trips from their home in Creswick to RCH. Katie and George have two older daughters, Lily (5) is beginning school this year and Ava (3). Their lives are going to be put on hold for quite some time while little George fights this horrible disease.
