ASD/ Lego Millennium Falcon Project

Donation protected

I would love to be able to do a father/son project with my son Archer.
At the age of 20 months he was diagnosed with autism and we were told he would never be about to talk or even function in a normal school environment. With the help of the Autism Association of WA, his schools support workers, teachers, a great home support worker and his biggest advocate, his mum. He has not only worked hard to see past his diagnosis, but he has thrived to be a generally above average student with a knack for public speaking.

My main goal for this gofundme page is to raise funds to purchase 2 x Lego USC ultimate Millennium Falcons. This project has several purposes.

Firstly: I would love to be able to present one to Archer as a surprise for him at his end of primary school graduation as a reward for his hard effort.

Second: Such a large project would also be a great long term therapy tool because one of the areas he is lacking is his fine motor skills.

Third: As you may have guessed we are both Lego and Star Wars fans. Part of the reason I’d like to be able to purchase 2 of these kits, is because I would like to be able to build one alongside him and then be able to show it at next year’s Bricktober as a father/son project.

Fourth: Any money that is raise above of what we need will go to ASD Aid (International LEGO Therapy Advocacy for Autistic Kids) to further fund more therapy kits.

Thank you for taking the time to help....

Regards Dad (Tristian)
