See below for Memorial Announcement.

Thank you to all who gave so generously to us during this hard time. Your kindness continues to be of great comfort as we mourn and move onward in our process of healing. Peace to you all.
Laurene L. Laureano was born in the Bronx, New York on July 25, 1955. She moved to Ardsley, NY and then to Puerto Rico when she turned 15. She spent a lot of time at the beach, had beautiful brown skin and an impeccable sense of style. Laur studied Physical Therapy at the University of Puerto Rico where she met and fell in love with her lifelong husband, Roberto Monteserin. They were married November 18, 1977, and soon thereafter welcomed their daughter Meysa Jacob-Monteserin and later, their son Stephan Monteserin.
Laurene moved to Central Florida, Nov. 20, 1982, to pursue her career in Physical Therapy. She became like family to many thousands of her patients during 41 years of service; her warmth of heart and genuine concern made her exceptional.
She was spontaneous and loved novelty and technology. Laur was a giver of her time and resources. Her smile, laughter,, hugs and enthusiasm were her trademark. Her family and especially her grandchildren were Laurene's joy and she loved them dearly, in a self-sacrificing way.
Laur is survived by her Husband Roberto Monteserin, Son Stephan Monteserin, Daughter Meysa Jacob-Monteserin, and son-in-law Ken Jacob, Grandchildren Hadyn, Nevaeh, Wyatt and Bekhem, Mother Felipa Rosa, Sisters Lucienne Colon-Laureano and Aida Laureano. She is preceded in death by her Father Sixto Laureano and brother Luis Morales Rosa.
A Memorial service honoring Laurene's life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 10:00 AM till 1:00 PM, at Northland, a church distributed: 530 Dog Track Road, Longwood, FL 32750.
We created a Go fund me campaign to help cover the expenses of the funeral. Please give as you feel so led. Thank you.
