Land Conservation at La MICA

La MICA Biological Station is built on the land that was Pablo's dad's, who donated the land to us for this conservation-oriented project. The land above us is owned by Pablo's uncle.
His uncle is interested in selling us the land is now he is elderly and no longer able to easily access it.
Some of the land has been cleared, some is in secondary growth and some is old forest. The plot reaches up to the cloud forest habitat at the top of the mountain. This acquistion will more than triple the land currently owned by La MICA! We will work to restore it all to healthy, native forest.
All donations will go towards the acquistion of this important piece of land and the advancement of La MICA Biological Station.
