Trip to Peru for kids' wheelchairs

I have 3 decades of experience in a wheelchair (a result of an injury as a child), as well as tons of experience in public relations, mechanical design, and much more, and it recently occurred to me that I would really like to use those skills somewhere in the world where it can make a real difference in people's lives.

After a several-month search, a friend in Africa suggested I try Eleanore's Project, which travels to poverty-stricken areas in Peru and helps to provide wheelchairs and proper fittings to those wheelchairs for children. This year, they are spending two weeks, one week in Lima and another in Nazca, changing the lives of children and their families.

I found out that I have been accepted to work with the program! Now I just have to raise funds for the trip, as travel, housing and food are responsibility of the volunteer. Anything I raise above the cost of this year's trip I will certainly apply toward a future trip, as I'm sure this will not be a one-time venture!
