I am raising money to pay the website's annual renewal.  Till now I have paid for all expenses out of pocket but this year I will not be able to.  I had to decide to ask for help or give up the site, I hope you all can help and we can keep the site going.
The website supports players who have been defrauded by paytowin games.  I spend my time researching and outing frauds, researching and networking with professionals around the world to bring evidence to the harmful practice itself, and then sharing what I can using the site as public bulletin board of research and actions.
The year 2019 will see lawmakers around the world continuing to take actions against the developers fraud and use of problem gambling mechanics to brutally monetize players regardless of age.
I would like to keep the site up to be able to update it and be there for people and lawmakers.
It is our mission to educate and advocate for change, the site is a hinge pin for this effort.
Please donate to keep it up and running.  I work full time and spend every available amount of time doing the real work needed to keep the initiative going but finances this year are putting me at a crossroads.  The developers using loot boxes and pay to win mechanics would love to see us go away, please don't let them win.

Hello all, the new site is GamersRights.org
Its less expensive to run, but we can always use help.
Recently we went after an illegal influencer operation forcing them to hide their dealings. Two days later we where hit with a DDOS attack. Being this type of attack costs money to pull off, I think its clear that we ticked off some people money, not afraid to do illegal stuff. Says to me, we are doing the right thing. We where able to find free protection from future attacks which is good.
We are currently working on three initiatives to keep things moving forward.
1) we will be submitting to the UN
2) we asked to be part if the US FTC workshop in loot boxes.
3) we are working on a research proposal for peer review on escalation of commitment mechanics in video games

So please still donate. Nothing in life comes free. Anything you can do to lessen the financial burdens is great. We will still be working hard regardless.

Thank you for those who contributed, but we still have aways to go. I realized that starting this campaign might have some difficulties. My past experience as finance chair for a small church taught me it is much harder to fundraise for the electrical bill than a new roof or outreach, but we need to keep the lights on, or the roof just makes it dark inside.
So I will speak a little to what is coming.
There are several initiatives in the works.
One initiative is using current respected and relevant research along side player’s own stories to speak to the FTC’s developing investigation into loot boxes.
I have reached out to US and international gambling authorities in a plea to find effective terminology that facilitates fraud protection as it applies from a gambling stand point, but isolated authorities from becoming baseball card cops.
I will continue to communicate with app developers that help problem gamblers from opting out of gambling apps, to cross over into pay to win games.
More current stories in the works will be posted soon. We will continue to call out frauds and highlight those that choose to addict and monetize players in the most devious ways they can.
