***IMPORTANT UPDATE 2 -Since the decision to conclude the campaign and donate whatever was raised to Refugee Support Devon & Refugee Rescue, we will also be supporting another campaign. Anything donated via the GoFundMe page on or after 23/01/2018 will be given to registered charity Respond.
They're currently raising money to build a shower block for women and children trapped in Moria camp on Lesvos Island. The lack of safe and private washing facilities adds to the indignities that women and children in particular suffer on a daily basis.
Please still share this GoFundMe page as much as possible. The support we've received so far is going to make a real difference in peoples lives, let's see if we can take it further!

***IMPORTANT UPDATE 1 - Katie Hopkins house has now been listed as sold - STC. In light of this fact, we have decided to conclude the campaign based on a survey posted earlier today on the GFM page. (See updates for pics)
The survey received over 450 votes with the majority of people voting to "Conclude the campaign, and donate whatever has been raised to a charity/charities that help migrants/refugees in Katie Hopkins name"
We'll keep the GoFundMe page open for another couple of days, just in case anyone wishes to donate further. More information to follow on which charities will be receiving the money raised.
Thanks to everyone who's helped with the campaign in any way. Although we may not have achieved what we originally set out to do, we'll definitely be helping the people who Hopkins so clearly despises, and who deserve far far better than some of the evil things she's said about them in the past.

Katie Hopkins has been forced to put her £1m mansion up for sale after losing a highly expensive libel case. We all know Hopkins’s disgusting views on immigrants and refugees, so the plan my good people, is to buy Katie Hopkins family home and use it to either house refugees or asylum seekers.
This would be a great victory for the people of the UK, because as we all know, Hopkins is a vile bigot who has had far too much air time and drastically needs taking down a peg or two.

We plan to cooporate with a charity that helps refugees, specifically with housing. We're in talks with some national ones and also some local to Devon.
If the required amount of £950,000 is not met, then all funds will either be refunded, or donated to a charity that helps refugee’s. I will take a poll once the campaign is finished and post an update containing the link. If similar pages are started but are more successful, then we will consider the greater good, and potentially donate whatever is raised on this page. Individuals can also send me a message for a refund if we are unsuccessful in aquiring Hopkins home.
Let's get sharing and make this viral! The chance to actually help people in need, and to destabilise Hopkins racist platform is surely worth it!
