Kaka’ako Farmers Market is moving November 17th to a fantastic new location at 1050 Ala Moana Blvd. We need your help in making your new Kaka’ako FarmLovers Market a success. The prosperity of our local farms, small businesses and food artisan community is nurtured by the success of this and other Farmers Markets. We would like to invite you to help make a difference today!
This is your chance to become a ‘friend of the market.’ The FarmLovers Kaka’ako Farmers Market is supported only through vendor fees and sponsorship. The move of the market is a large and expensive production to pull off with cost of marketing, advertising and modifying of facilities being just the tip of the iceberg. Your donation would be used to facilitate the success of the move.
At FarmLovers Markets, we are committed to utilizing and creating more sustainable agricultural land through the support of local farmers and value-added locally grown foods. Our markets focus on sustainability and require that produce sold on-site be locally grown.
We are asking for your help in boosting our local, grassroots economy! More money spent at a farmers market gets vested back into the local community than money spent elsewhere. Support your Kaka’ako Farmers Market by donating to help us meet our $4,800 goal today!
We envision a community hub… a weekly gathering place, where locals can enjoy farm fresh produce, good food, live music, talk-story, and to celebrate and support the movement for a sustainable local food system in Hawai’i.
