Help the Homeless for the Holidays

Hello, hello everyone! It's that time of year again, and I still can't believe it, nor can I believe that it is the FIFTH year for our fundraiser! Last year went above and beyond our expectations, and I would like to thank eveyone who helped us pass our goal! Whether it was a donation of money or goods, volunteering time or resources, we wouldn't have been able to do anything without your help. Between the gofundme site, cash donations, and Black Wednesday at The Beer Bistro, we made over $3,000 last year! This enabled us to make 60 well-stocked care packages, and still spend hundreds of dollars on brand new toys for homeless children, as well as donate what was left to a family shelter.  This year we are hoping (and prepared, after quite a bit of trial and error) to go bigger than ever. We will be raising money via this site, The Beer Bistro is having another Bourbon County Rare event at their Black Wednesday party, and Range in Lincoln Park has made us their monthly fundraiser for the month of November. If you are able to donate even a dollar, every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. Even if you just spread the word, share our posts, or tell your friends, that helps so much as well. As for those who can donate time with either shopping or making care packages, let either me or Carrie know! Our package parties have become big and loud and festive and fun.

Thank you again to everyone who has donated and made this annual fundraiser possible, and thank you to everyone who continues to help keep it alive!

With love, Nicole & Carrie
