Terry Hathaway, owner of Joyfultea of Boise, is so very appreciative of the outpouring of emotions and the many wishes of our friends to re-open the Tea Room and Store. Due to the exceptional input of many folks urging this path to accept donations, here it is. The past two years have been a giant challenge in both business and life.
The Tea Room that we built on Glenwood Street was a wonderful place to share so many of the wonders of life over Tea, Scones, Friendship, and Family! Oh, don't forget the Chocolate Chip Cookies and Brandy's magnificent Gluten-Free Cookies!
We (actually Terry) are trying to raise enough money to re-establish the space for the community to get back to what we had so few weeks ago. We are hopeing to get back into the same space---no promises that this will happen, but we are dedicated to the concept of the Garden City area.
Joyfultea is committed to the loving feeling that was the wonder of the Tea Room, especially the meeting room that was so enjoyed by so many groups and families.
Any funds raised will be used to pay the ongoing expenses that could not be cancelled during the closure, pay back taxes, buy inventory and get into a suitable space to further our passion for the peaceful "coming together" with Tea in such a great setting.
The restructuring of expenses and pricing will help keep Joyfultea in the "black" into the future.
We (actually Terry again), are interested in finding a minority partner soon to allow a succession into the future so that Joyfultea will remain a fixture for the community for many years to come.
Thank you for your passion of what Joyfultea can be!
