3 Veterans Need Your Help

We are starting this Go Fund me in hopes to help an 87 year old war time veteran of both the Army and Navy keep his home insurance.
On september 25th he recieved a letter stating due to the conditions of his home they would do longer insure him as of Jan.2018. They list complaints of a bad roof, peeling paint,moss and overgrown vegatation on the house.Parts of the roof are so bad that his home leaks when it rains or snows.In order to keep his home insurance he needs to put a new roof and and paint his house.As many of you know our elderly live on a fixed income of social security and theres no way he can afford to make these repairs.We are reaching out to our community for help keeping this veteran safe and his home insured.
My husband and i (im his granddaughter) have moved in w Virlin to help him with everyday life such as cooking meals and cutting his wood. Tending his garden...but there is only so much we can do as my husband is a wounded warrior (100 percent service connected disabled) and we have 4 children

United way-advised to try for loan
COA'- advised to try for loan, directed to soldiers relief fund
Soldiers relief fund: advised to try for a loan
Habitat for hummanity: advised that roof repair and paint does not fall under emergency assistance and that they dont offer relief in barry county even if it did
Va- told the grants available are only for those who were injured in the line of duty
American legion: advised their funds are for disaster victims
