Feeding Jackson’s Youth
Humanitarian Post. Because there is currently a water crisis in Jackson, MS school children are not attending school. Because they are not in school until the water lines are repaired, many of the young people who depend on the meals from school are going hungry. In addition to donating groceries we are seeking to raise funds to help supplement and sustain our young people who are hungry. Some of the Jackson Public School students in Jackson Mississippi have been walking to the local homeless shelter to get some food as a result of having not eaten. This status is not for the purpose of blaming anyone. It’s for the purpose of doing something about it together. If you can and are willing to help please help us start a movement to ensure that hunger is never an issue that a child seeking an education ever has to worry about. Let’s focus on them so they can focus on knowledge and youth.

We are very Excited to announce that we have Identified the Kings Leadership Institute as the organization that will assist us in our efforts to feed Jackson’s Youth! The institute is an after school and summer program that focuses on Boys and girls from the ages of 5-18 years old in the Jackson Metro area and their goals are to provide character building, life skills, health and fitness, as well as educational and travel opportunities to be exposed to higher education through college tours!
We will donate all of the proceeds of the campaign to this noble cause and will continue to work with the organization to grow both its mission and the mission of ensuring that the young people of Jackson get healthy meals and real opportunities to succeed!
Thank you to all who have contributed!
