'Bath Half' for Jessie May Hospice

I moved to Bath in September to start my training to become a Norland Nanny. I joined a running club and was inspired to challenge myself in completing the Bath Half Marathon while being able to support a charity at the same time. I am hoping to raise money for the charity 'Jessie May - Children's Hospice at home.' It is an amazing charity which supports over 180 families, including 45 bereaved families. Jessie May nurses visit families in their own home, providing expert care for terminally ill children. Their visits allow parents to pop out to the shops, help their other children or simply sit down and eat dinner. They are proud of their service and how special it is for families as it enables parents to have a break, confident that their son or daughter is in the care of someone who understands the complexities of their medical needs, and crucially someone they trust. The charity is based within the Bristol community, where currently no other service like this is being provided.
