We are Joey and Julie Turk. We have been married for almost 4 years and have been best friends for 7 years. We are asking you to help us welcome and love our first child.
After trying to start a family for 2 years, we became pregnant in the spring of 2015, only to miscarry at 8 weeks. A few short months later, we suffered a second miscarriage at 8 weeks. We were heartbroken. God had called our babies Home. We now have two beautiful angels watching over us.
After many months of much prayer and consideration, we are excited to announce that we are going to grow our family through adoption! We feel as though this is the path God has planned for us.
In less than a few weeks of us mentioning to our family and friends about our adoption plans, we have been blessed to be given the opportunity. On Jan. 7th, we met a birth mother who is due late April. Where most families have many months to prepare financially, we have a few short months.
As you know, adoption is very costly. The money raised will go toward the home study fees, adoption fees, and attorney fees.
Your gift of any amount will enable us to start the family we have always wanted and to give a child a loving and healthy home.
